TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

Terms and Conditions

When booking with Rose Garden Dog Walking for any services you agree to the following conditions; 

1) When booking dog walking it is mandatory that payment is made by the customer every Friday for the services provided during that week, payment in advance or on the day of services provided is also acceptable

2) Payments can be made in cash or bank transfer and an invoice will be provided to the customer once per month showing walks completed, payments outstanding and payments made

3) If you cancel a dog walk with less than 24 hours notice there will be a cancellation fee of £5 per walk cancelled

4) The above conditions also apply to dog, cat and small animal visits. 

5) When booking house and pet sitting a deposit of £5 is to be paid upon booking and the subsequent amount left to be paid 24 hours prior to the beginning of the sitting. 

6) If house or pet sitting is cancelled with less than 3 days notice there will be a cancellation fee of £5 per day booked. For example if 7 days are booked for sitting and it is then cancelled the day before, you would have to pay £45 in cancellation fees. 

7) There is no cancellation fee for pet taxi services. 

8) Details in regards to pets temperament, behaviour, dietary requirements and health must be shared with Rose Garden Dog Walking prior to any care taking place. If the pets have any new or ongoing illnesses, injuries or changes to health or behaviour then the owner must make Rose Garden Dog Walking aware prior to any new or further care taking place. Failure to do so may result in Rose Garden Dog Walking no longer providing a service to you and your pets in the future. 

9) Dogs will only be let off lead if they have great recall abilities and their owners have signed to agree they may come off of the lead. Any instances where dogs recall is not good whilst in our care will be reported to the owners on the same day. In an emergency, or in the extremely rare instance that a dog has run off, the owners will be called instantly where safe and possible to do so. 

10) Rose Garden Dog Walking will not walk any dogs on check/choke chains or prong collars and will not use any aversive training tools. If your dog does not have a suitable collar or harness then your dog will not be walked. Rope leads and martingale collars are acceptable. 

11) Vet details of where the pet is registered and any vaccinations the pets have had must be shared with Rose Garden Dog Walking. Failure to do so will result in refusal of services. 

12) If your pet requires attention from a veterinarian, all efforts will be made to contact the owner straight away. 

13) If the owner is not contactable within 10 minutes or the pet requires emergency care, the pet will be taken to the nearest emergency vets for treatment. Any costs payable to the vets is not covered by Rose Garden Dog Walking and is to be paid by the owner. 

14) All dogs must be microchipped and all details must be up to date as per Microchipping of Dogs (England) Regulations 2015

15) All dogs must be wearing a collar or harness with an identification tag as per Control of Dogs Order 1992

16) A key must be supplied to Rose Garden Dog Walking or provide the code to a key safe. If the owner wishes to leave a key out in an unsecured area then Rose Garden Dog Walking will not be responsible for the safety of your property whilst using our service.

17) Any details held in regards to animals, their owners and any other personal information will be kept for the duration of service use and up to 3 months after the termination of services. After this, all data will be disposed of as per data protection laws. All personal information is stored in conjunction will GDPR and data protections laws. 

18) The pre-service contract must be completed and signed by the owner at least 24 hours prior to any service taking place. Failure to do so may result in refusal of services. 

19) By signing and agreeing to the pre-service contact, the owner agrees to all terms and conditions cited here as well as the hot and adverse weather policy. 

20) If any of the above terms and conditions are broken then the contract will be terminated immediately and no further services will be provided by Rose Garden Dog Walking.
